Between 2006 and 2007 when he worked as a clinical research fellow at IRCAD in Strasbourg, an internationally renowned endoscopic centre, under the supervision of Prof. Wattiez.

After his return to the UK, he continued to develop his special interest in laparoscopic surgery, specialising in a wide range of minimal invasive procedures for benign gynaecological conditions. His main interest remained endometriosis, and in 2015 he became the lead of the Central Lancashire Endometriosis Centre. This accredited centre provides surgical laparoscopic expertise for complex severe endometriosis.

He continues to participate as part of the faculty on the Advanced Gynaecological Courses in IRCAD, and also as a speaker at various international gynaecology endoscopic conferences.
